We thought of words beginning with that sound and when the word “JELLY” came up we decided to prepare some for snack time. The children were very excited about eating the jelly.

In order to reinforce the sound we sang and acted out the song “JELLY AND JAM”, we played “MINGLE, MINGLE”, decorated a letter “J” and completed a worksheet.
