During the lasts weeks, Kinder 3 has been working on a project about pets. They started to investigate what a pet was and their characteristics. The parents collaborated with material such as photos and videos. Their teacher read books, sang songs, played animal games and together with the pupils prepared crafts.

They were able to learn that a pet is an animal that lives at home and is taken care of by members of the family. They also learnt that wild animals are not pets because they can’t live in houses.

To finish off the project, Kinder 3 was transformed into a Pet shop and the children dressed up as vets and played with their own stuffed animals. They had lots of fun pretending to be vets!!!

They had a really great time while they learnt about animals!!!!

Durante las últimas semanas los niños de Kinder 3 estuvieron trabajando en un proyecto sobre mascotas. Empezaron investigando que es una mascota y sus características. Todos los padres colaboraron con materiales como fotos y videos. Sus maestras leyeron libros, cantaron canciones, jugaron y prepararon trabajos especiales.

Pudieron aprender que las mascotas son animales que viven en nuestras casa y algún miembro de la familia se ocupa de cuidarlo. También aprendieron que los animales salvajes no son mascotas, por que no pueden vivir en nuestras casas.

Para finalizar con el proyecto, Kinder 3 se transformo en un Pet Shop y los niños se disfrazaron como veterinarios y jugaron muchísimo. Se divirtieron pretendiendo ser veterinarios!

¡Verdaderamente se disfrutaron aprendiendo sobre los animales!
