Como todos los años en el mes de julio los alumnos de Junior 4, 5 y 6 presentaron a sus familias las ya tradicionales Open Classes. Cada grupo desarrollo su responsabilidad y su proyecto a través de creativas propuestas con diferentes producciones; dramatizaciones, canciones, videos, posters, coreografías. La respuesta de los Padres a la convocatoria supero ampliamente las expectativas con una asistencia casi perfecta en los tres grupos.

Junior 4: “Festivals around the world”

Este grupo investigó el tema para poder elegir celebraciones tradicionales en diferentes continentes, en Argentina y en el Colegio del Pilar. De esta manera pudieron contar sus propias experiencias con respecto a Viajes de Estudio, Actos Patrios, Sports’ Day y otros eventos especiales.

Junior 5:”Stranger things”

Tomando como punto de partida historias de la literatura inglesa, leyendas, misterios e incógnitas del mundo sin revelar, los alumnos de Junior 5 pusieron en marcha su imaginación. Escribieron versiones libres de obras de grandes autores. Luego actuaron sus guiones y explicaron estas “cosas extrañas” con gracia y mucho humor.

Junior 6 : “Thinking out of the box”

Los alumnos de Junior 6 rindieron su homenaje a los inventores cuyos famosos aportes cambiaron la historia de la humanidad. Estos fueron personajes que indudablemente mejoraron los contextos sociales en los que vivieron. Nombraron a Fleming, Franklyn y Gutemberg entre otros, relatando cada caso a través diálogos, usando con vestuario adecuado, música e increíbles efectos especiales.

Fue un orgullo y un placer verlos trabajar en equipo disfrutando con tanto entusiasmo y compromiso superándose día a día. Felicitaciones!!

Open Classes 2017

Every year in the month of July the students of Junior 4, 5 and 6 present the traditional Open Classes. Each group developed their project through creative proposals with different productions; dramatizations, songs, videos, posters, choreographies and games. Parents’ response to the invitation exceeded the expectations with almost perfect attendance.

Junior 4: «Festivals around the world»

This group did some research work on the subject and chose traditional celebrations in different continents, in Argentina and at Colegio Del Pilar. In this way they were able to tell their own experiences regarding Study Trips, Patriotic Celebrations, Sports’ Day and other special events.

Junior 5: «Stranger Things»

After analyzing famous stories of English literature, legends and mysteries of the world, Junior 5 students set their imagination in motion. They wrote free versions of books written by great authors. Then they self-corrected their scripts and explained these «strange things» through a hilarious and interesting performance.

Junior 6: «Thinking out of the Box»

Junior 6 students honoured the inventors whose famous contributions changed the history of mankind. No doubt these characters improved the quality of life. They told the audience about Fleming, Franklyn and Gutenberg among others, giving details, in each case, through interesting dialogues. They also wore costumes, played music and created incredible special effects.

It was a pride and a pleasure for teachers to see their enthusiastic team work, their progress and how they could enjoy learning! Congratulations!!
