Kinder – Parts of the Body
The five-year-olds have been learning about their bodies. They learnt and dramatized songs such as “HOKEY POKEY AND HEAD AND SHOULDERS”, played games and were able to name and recognize the vocabulary. They investigated together about the senses and found out that they allow us to observe and understand the world around us. There are five main ways we can do this: through sight, touch, smell, taste and hearing. They had fun experimenting with them.
They also created a monster using their imagination! Their monsters ended up with three heads, only one eye and six legs or two noses!
As a closure for the unit “My Body” Kinder 5 prepared faces using trays of cardboard and disposable material. After they were dry they painted them and took them home.
MI CUERPO
Los niños de cinco años han estado aprendiendo acerca de sus cuerpos. Aprendieron y dramatizaron canciones como «HOKEY POKEY Y HEAD AND SHOULDERS», jugaron juegos y fueron capaces de nombrar y reconocer el vocabulario. Investigaron juntos sobre los sentidos y descubrieron que nos permiten observar y entender el mundo que nos rodea. Hay cinco maneras principales de hacerlo: a través de la vista, el tacto, el olfato, el gusto y la audición. Se divirtieron experimentando con ellos.
¡También crearon un monstruo usando su imaginación! Sus monstruos terminaron con tres cabezas, ¡sólo un ojo y seis patas o dos narices!
Como cierre para la unidad «My Body» Kinder 5 preparó caras utilizando bandejas de cartón y material desechable. Después de que estuvieron secos los pintaron y los llevaron a casa.
